GROWING UP IN THE MOUNTAINS of Elko, Nevada, Roxie knew she wanted to be on the radio at the age of 7, making her own mix-tapes in her bedroom and listening to the only country stration in her town, KRJC. She got her first break as the Morning Show Host for KRJC when she was just 18. Her best memories of that early radio career were interviewing Restless Heart and Little Texas and receiving a BURNT CD of a brand new, up and coming artist named Taylor Swift in the mail.
Roxie moved to Columbia, MO in 2009 and has spent many years on Q106.1 and 100.1 the Buzz, and now finally back to her love of country, hosting the afternoons on Nash FM100.1
When not hanging out with her two dogs, Abner and Truckstop Sandwich, she enjoys shooting sporting clays with her beloved Browning, having drinks with friends at Logboat or Elks Lodge, cheering on her beloved St. Louis Cardinals, and looking forward to floating down the rivers of Southern Missouri in the summertime.
