CMT has revealed the first round of performers for its 2024 CMT Music Awards. The lineup is a who’s who of country music’s latest headliners and beloved stars.
Keith Urban, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Bailey Zimmerman and Sam Hunt will join the show’s host, Kelsea Ballerini, as performers on the 2024 CMT Music Awards, which will air live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on April 7 on CBS. The show will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
Ballerini, Wilson and Jelly Roll are part of a five-way tie for leading nominee at the fan-voted awards show alongside Cody Johnson and Megan Moroney. Each artist is up for three awards at the 2024 CMT Music Awards.
The nominees for the night’s top honor – Video of the Year – include Ballerini, Kacey Musgraves and Brandy Clark featuring Brandi Carlile, in addition to Darius Rucker, Tyler Childers and Zach Bryan.
Voting for Video of the Year will remain open throughout the show at vote.cmt.com. Voting for other awards is open through April 1.
More performers and presenters will be revealed in the coming weeks.
